Superswap.cx is a crypto swap service with no account and no KYC: there is no registration, and identity documents are not routinely requested. It swaps 17 assets: BTC, ETH, XMR, ZEC, LTC, SOL, BCH, DASH, XRP, DOGE and ADA, plus USDT and USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20) and Solana. Fees are built into the displayed rate, swaps are processed in 5–30 minutes after the deposit is confirmed, and the minimum swap is $50. The main difference: RetoSwap is a peer-to-peer network where you trade with other users and every trade has Monero on one side, while Superswap.cx is an instant swap service that processes each swap itself.
RetoSwap is the largest public network running Haveno, an open-source peer-to-peer exchange built around Monero. Like Bisq, it has no company holding your coins and no sign-up; unlike Bisq, every trade has Monero on one side. kycnot.me rates it 9 out of 10 and KYC level 0, meaning it never asks for ID.
2026 was rough: two exploits in five weeks and a trading halt. Full disclosure: we run Superswap.cx, an instant swap service that also handles Monero. This review uses RetoSwap's site and release notes, the Haveno docs, kycnot.me and news coverage, all checked in October 2026.
Yes, as of October 2026. RetoSwap shipped v1.8.0-reto on June 20, 2026 with fixes for the exploited code paths, and kycnot.me reports that trading resumed after that patch. The current release is v1.10.0-reto (October 10, 2026), which adds further security hardening and 24 new payment methods. RetoSwap has not published a single dated "trading reopened" announcement, so make sure you run the latest client before trading.
May 20, 2026: an attacker abused flaws in how trade messages and arbitrator identities were checked during multisig setup and drained about 7,000 XMR (roughly $2.7 million at the time). RetoSwap pushed emergency releases and adjusted trade fees to help affected traders.
June 17, 2026: a second vulnerability, in the dispute-resolution process, let attackers forge dispute payouts; kycnot.me puts the losses at about 1,500 XMR. RetoSwap halted trading until the June 20 patch.
Reimbursement: RetoSwap raised taker fees in v1.6.0-reto (May 24, 2026) to help affected traders recover, and kycnot.me says refunds are still pending and expected to come mostly from future trading fees. No completed reimbursement has been announced.
The buyer, the seller and an arbitrator each hold one key to a 2-of-3 Monero multisig wallet. Both traders lock the XMR and their security deposits in it. When the seller confirms the payment arrived, the XMR is released and both deposits are returned. The arbitrator signs only if there is a dispute, which is exactly the path the 2026 attacks went after.
RetoSwap runs on Haveno, the open-source software behind it. Our Haveno guide explains the software, the networks that use it and how to install it.

If you are paying with a bank or cash, RetoSwap is one of the few no-ID routes to Monero. If you already hold BTC, ETH or USDT, an instant swap gets you XMR without an app, an order book or a deposit, and without relying on the dispute system that was attacked twice this year.
Yes. RetoSwap patched the exploited code in v1.8.0-reto on June 20, 2026, and kycnot.me reports trading resumed. The current version is v1.10.0-reto (October 10, 2026). Always update to the latest client before trading.
Two exploits hit the Haveno protocol it runs on: about 7,000 XMR was drained on May 20, 2026, and a second attack on the dispute system followed on June 17, which halted trading until the June 20 patch.
Not yet, as far as public sources show. RetoSwap raised taker fees in May 2026 to help affected traders recover, and kycnot.me says refunds are still pending and expected to come mostly from future trading fees.
Haveno is the open-source software. RetoSwap is the largest public network running it, with its own arbitrators, fees and releases. Haveno itself does not endorse any network. More in our Haveno guide.
No. RetoSwap never asks for ID; kycnot.me rates it KYC level 0 and 9 out of 10 overall.
Maker 0.1%, taker 0.8% on crypto trades and 2% on fiat trades, plus a security deposit of typically 15% that is returned after the trade.
If you already hold crypto, Superswap.cx swaps BTC, ETH, USDT and more to XMR at a fixed rate in 5–30 minutes, with no app, deposit or ID.
